well im not doing all state... it interfered with the dc trip and like 800 other things... too much trouble. yea im a slacker.

| lawrenceville is amazing
i visited on monday... wow. its so perfect. the campus is great, the classes interesting, and the students are down to earth. dare i say... better than exeter? 
i got there at 8:30 and they had a bunch of speeches and stuff. they talked about how great lawrenceville is... blah blah blah. then i got paired up with my host. jamie, a half korean boarder from pennsylvania. sat through morning meeting, where the japanese exchange students put on a presentation about the seasons and traditions in japan... pretty amusing. then a bunch of other announcements and then we went to class... lunch... etc. during his consultation block, we saw a bunch of ppl flying kites in the bowl. so we joined them... the kite string snapped twice and we had to run past the football fields, pond, baseball diamond, soccer field, and teacher housing to finally find it. eventually, he tied it to a stick in the ground, and it flew all day.  yea thats pretty much it... amazing.

on sunday, i had my region orchestra concert. it went better than expected, considering we messed everything up in rehearsal. the conductor was thoroughly pissed...

| well... my birthday turned out to be pretty bad... and im gonna complain a bit... so lets see.. my parents pretty much forgot until i reminded them. heh... and then i went to tennis tryouts and did some running, and sprained my ankle >.< so i spent the whole day in my moms friends house cuz she does massage therapy and stuffs... and then we went to dinner with them... boring, uneventful, and pretty much sucky... turns out i cant do any activity for about 1-2 weeks, so that means probably no tennis for me.

| wow... i havent updated in forever... actually just a week but it feels like forever. well, i got into all states, but got a sucky seat... fr germain let me see the sheet, and apparently, emerson got 151 freakin points and dennis got 149. i got 117 or something. T.T but congrats to everyone that got in, especially grace, who made first cello, and emerson nd dennis, who as mentioned before, did mad good in their try outs, and jackie who got third viola... and amanda who also did well... so congrats to everyone..

oh yea.. this sucks. my regions interferes with my tennis try outs... erg. the FIRST day of tryouts too. :T and then all states and the abbey orchestra concert interferes with my DC trip... ugh this really sucks.
